The ever-growing list of schools makes Metropolitan School District of Pike Township one of the highest ranked school districts in the state. The district maintains a 95 percent graduation rate. Pike schools are multi-ethnic with a 60 percent non-white population. With over 10,000 pupils there are more than 400 international students which represent 41 countries and 50 languages. There are three year-round schools available to the residents based on academic pursuit.
